I wear Acuvue Oasys contact lenses. How often do I really need to throw them away and put in new lenses?

Currently, I throw them away once a month and I wear them every day. Could I be doing this every six weeks or two months? They aren't exactly cheap.

Stick to the manufacturer's instructions, otherwise you risk eye infections or worse.

Honestly 6-8 weeks

I have the same ones and I try to wear them for just a month but its honestly no big deal.

Once I wore them for 2.5 months and I finally ordered new ones when there was something on them I couldn't get off. My eyes are just fine.
