many years ago i had migraine attacks. many times it was caused by a hot dog. although a hot dog wasn't the only cause of it. i was 6 or 7 at the time i had the attacks. i never had any attack since then. another reason why i had an attack is because i slept too late or something. i spoke to my mom about trying hot dogs. she said it may be a possibility that i may not be allergic to them anymore. should i ask my doctor first before i try it?

Talk to your doctor, but it could be that your headaches were triggered by the preservatives in the hot dogs. Preservatives are a common trigger for migraines.

it was directly the hot dogs? sounds like you have a sulfite allergy.

if you're allergic to them and know it, why try em again? why take the risk of gettinga migraine or worse?

Nitrates in most hotdogs give me migraines as well. look for hot dogs without nitrates in them and try just a half one.

i guess it wouldn't hurt to ask
but you've made it a long time without hot dogs, if i were you i wouldn't risk it... because migraines are HORRIBLE.
