Sex is not only a means of physical gratification, but an important act that "requires commitment and responsibility. The requirement of marriage before sex ensures that sense of commitment and responsibility."

According to the Qur'an, "the believers are...those who protect their sexual organs except from their spouses... Therefore, whosoever seeks more beyond that [in sexual gratification], then they are the transgressors." (23:5-6). Most of the neo-pagan religions do not condemn it as long as no one is harmed. I say most because there are so many and I may not know about all of them. However, I have never heard of one that condones hurting anyone. They usually accept all sexual orientations.

The Torah is written in HEBREW, no longer Greek. The be conscious To'e'vah is utilized alongside with something extremely detestable and by this verse the context is fairly clean- that any form of sodomy is forbidden. there is not any connection to worship or to pagan priesthoods interior the verse- it is an interpretation study into later by potential of human beings attempting to hit upon some thank you to get around something it is fairly for sure mentioned- that sodomy is forbidden. The context of the verse is obvious- it is speaking approximately forbidden sexual relatives. So incest is forbidden, relatives with a number of relatives are forbidden, bestiality is forbidden- and sodomy is forbidden. not one of the different relationships have something to do with pagan worship- nor does the only on sodomy. edit: could desire to have picked this one up suitable away- your translation of "to'evah" as ritual impurity is carefully faulty. The be conscious for ritual impurity is Tame, or Tuma interior the plural. yet another element- all of us understand this refers to extra advantageous than one act (sodomy in the two honsexual and heterosexual relatives) interior the path of the be conscious "Mishkevai"- it relatively is a PLURAL. If it has purely observed one specifc act, it could have been "mishkav" interior the singular

Pagan religions have no qualms with sexual activity. However, if there is an element of harming another (rape, infidelity outside of consent, molestation...) then it should not be done. The only commandment of Paganism is (and I'm paraphrasing,) "If it harms none, do what you will."

Religiously, they all have restictions and warnings on sexual activity.

Atheists certainly find the social mishaps like STD's (Aids, herpies), broken hearts, and human jelosy reasons to condem sexual activities.

Devil Worshiping - Well, the Devil is actually stricter than God, and wants to prove he's better by making more rules.

For all cultures, religions, and societies, sex is a good and bad thing. All have very similar idea's on how to create harmony with this beautiful thing that is sometimes abused to be an ugly thing.

Shintoism, it's the religion native to Japan. They worship lots of gods (like 1000 or 1000+), but they have no moral code that goes with the religion. Any other religion that is soley about worship but involves no moral code would also be like that too.

If you're talking about sexuality between a married man and woman, then you'd be talking about Christianity. Anything outside of the marriage union crosses into immorality.
