anyone watch the program about muslims on channel 4? how can they say islam is a peaceful religion when there are radicals like this preaching this crap. hiding behind religion just to get their own ideals over? how can christians, muslims & jews co exist ?

we can not co exist , i live among them & the ones that say nothing are just as bad, they turn a blind eye & encourage it ,
the sooner it comes to a head the sooner it can be sorted

The religion cannot be judged by the few who choose to interpret it in their own way. The vast majority of Muslims are just like you and I but they don't exactly grab the headlines - can you imagine the front page headlines - 'Muslim man has job, cares for family, is friends with neighbours' Hardly attention grabbing.
Are all catholics terrorists like the IRA?
Are all christians terrorists for invading jeruselum during the crusades?
It is not the fault of religion. Some people will always use it as a means to gain power and influence over the easilly pursuaded, religion is just the tool for their own ends just as some people use money, political power, positions of authority etc. to control and gain advantage.
Don't take media reporting as the only truth - remember all you read and see are just some of the facts dressed up to make the happy consumer lap it all up. Stories are 'sexed up' to make the 'news' more entertaining. The truth is too dull.

Good point but let's all think a little.... if "...the BBC management instructed the re-editing of the programme" then why was the program that was broadcast still biased ?! Could it be that the BBC management DID NOT IN FACT, AT ALL, instructed the re-editing of the programme ??? That is more likely in my view. About the whole affair I still say that (1) MCCANNS SHOULD GO ANSWER THOSE 40 QUESTIONS and that... (2) when the case is closed the PJ-GNR Police officers will be allowed to give interviews and tell us their version of events. Now THAT would be worth reading !! Haven't we all heard of the importance to hear BOTH sides ? Since then has that ceased to be important ?!

Christianity is supposed to be a peaceful faith. Jesus taught love and respect for others. Still managed to have pogroms, the inquisition, witch burning, heretic burning, the Crusades, the bonfire of the vanities, puritanism, the Irish troubles, religious war, slavery, the Holocaust, and every little small minded piece of nastiness going since. Just because a religion is followed by morons, doesn't mean you should condemn it. Islam shares many of the same beliefs as Judaism and Christianity.

Yeh i'm watching it now..its going to get some Muslims beaten up most likely. To be honest though, it is just cherry picking quotes. Jihad is like a buzz word for evil, its just the prinicple of struggling against something, in this case fighting against an enemy. I'm pretty sure the Western nations having been waging war on other countries for centuries seeking dominance. And i'm sure if they get attacked they would defend themselves and their right to do so. But call it Jihad and it suddenly becomes unacceptable. If people want to find out about Islam they should find out by themselves, not being fed cut and paste tidbits

your the typical person that doesn't want to be seen to offend the Muslim. Hence, nothing ever gets done.
look at your own comments. You even had to bring Christians and Jews into it for fear of being seen as picking on Muslims. And you wonder why these people are still "preaching this crap"!!!

I did not see this program I suspect but get your point. Muslims are determind to wipe out all other faiths so basicaly we can not.
