I know that I've asked SOOOO much questions, but I only got answers for 2. Okay. So, I have checked the red line that I have mentioned b4. It's barely there.
So, Prob:
Pinkish swelled.Little over a week.
*I got it pierced on the ear lobe, NOT on the cartilage
It's not hurting, or itching, or warm, or pus or crust coming.

I got this pierced at a professional.
I have been using Witch Hazel, cleaning solution, with 14% rubbing alcohol.
I just put a bit of Purell Sanitizer.

Suggestions?

Forget about all the other Crud,

just keep washing it with warm soap water, and rinse it off each day 2x per day,

Stop messing with the earings, just twist them a bit to keep em from getting stuck,

crust develops that is normal but just keep it clean,

no hair spray or gell, and tie your hair back, if you can't then just make sure to wash your hair.

But bottom line leave the ears alone, its gonna be 6 weeks for them to heal, if you keep playing with them they'll never heal and you will get and infection,

red and irritated is from playing, looking, inspecting, touching, moving the ear,

pinkish, crusty, is normal, the pink is from the body realizing it has a foreign object there, and the crust is the body trying to heal. and pushing out the skin cells.

just use regular soap and water, do not use the hand sanitizer, or anything else.

you can use the Alcohol 1 time per week if the earring looks nasty.dirty cruddy, whatever. to clean it but thats it.

Good luck

I have a lot of ear piercings and I accually found that rubbing alcohol made me get an infection because it would dry up the piercing around the earing and cause irritation. I prefer to use peroxide, plus it doesn't sting at all like alcohol would. Plus I would stop using purell because it also contains alcohol as well as other chemicals that should not be put on a piercing.

it truly is in effortless words a piercing, won't be able to you wait until eventually your 16? you are able to damage you moms and dads emotions in case you go at the back of their backs. No i'd not damage. there is extra of a probability of your ears getting contaminated in case you get it pierced with a gun, it truly is suitable to get it finished with a needle (scary i recognize) notwithstanding it truly would not damage, for a split second it hurts a tiny bit yet then the ear is going numb. Gok Wan has stretched ear lobes, so until eventually your making plans to stretch your ears, i ought to opt for the stud. good success on regardless of you ascertain.

If youve only had it pierced for a little over a week, its normal that its pink and swelled. It take 4 to 6 weeks to fully heal. Anyway, do not use what youve been using to clean them, it will just irratate and dry out your ears, as will peroxide.Like the person above me said, get ear solution from the place you got them pierced at the mall or whatever. or go to a tattoo and piercing place and get some antimicrobial therapeutic skin cleanser its called thats what i use for my ear piercings.

Don't use rubbing alcohol, or Purell Sanitizer. They shouldn't be going into your body. You should be using ear cleaning solution from your local ear-piercing place. I would suggest Claire's or Icing.

Use Hydrogen Peroxide, sponge it on the infected lobe. This will heal the infection.

Bactine is the best thing to use on it. I've used it on all of my peircing and that's what they recommend in tattoo parlors as well.
