Hi Vela,
I'm an American currently living in Mexico. The fact that you write in English tells me you have a fair amount of English. I'd be happy to help you. Tell me what I can do. I can always use help with Spanish. Even though I've been here a year there are still things I avoid because I'm not sure.

If you wrote this yourself that you have a good concept of the english language, you seem to be doing fine. Its been on my mind to learn Spanish, it is used in quite a few countries.

The best way to achieve your goal, is to keep on asking questions, and reading the answers closely. In my experience (being dutch and all) I have learned English by reading and talking, not by attending classes.
So I would like to advise you to participate in any ongoing discussion in English, people will like to point out anything to better your english.
Put simply: just join and ask.

Hola Vela,
