I have always beleived that if you unhappy, either consciously or unconsciously, with some aspect of your life, little signs will start showing up.
For example, I have been unhappy with my job for quite some time ,but in the New Year decided to just make the best of things. last week, as I was leaving for work in the morning, a piece of the metal door frame fell off and hit me in the head. I went to work anyway, and about 4 hours later, an upright, heavy table tipped over and slammed into the back of my head. I've been off since.
I feel that these two things were signs that I should move onto to a better job. Does anyone else believe this?

By the way, I am NOT an accident prone person, never have been.

I think your story is completely made-up. Other than that, I will say that yes, our thinking does create patterns which become attracted into our lives. Look up and read up on psycho-kinetics to see how the energy of thought produces physical manifestation.

Yes, I have the opposite problem. I keep thinking I should find a "real" job...but every time I try, somethign comes up that interferes with that process...so it just never quite works out. I think that's a sign too indicating you're right where you are meant to be!!! :~)
So yes, maybe these things are signs that you should take a breather and take a good look at your life.
I'll tell you one thing. You are NOT indispensible. Your job will go on without you. Your life is only SO long....don't let it pass you by.
You know what? You should rent or buy this movie:

Read the synopsis and watch the trailer (sounds like you!)....It's really pretty amazing and yes it connects how your thoughts actually influence the things around you.
Good luck!

Yes I believe that these two signs were telling you to move on to another job. If I were you, I wouldn't go back to that job EVER! Who knows what other sign you will receive next.
Besides I bet there is a great job for you out there. Let life lead you to where you need to be. Have fun and good luck.

No I don't believe that what happened to you were signs, they're just random things that happened. And I think that the reason you believe they were signs is because you want some 'higher' reason to leave your job rather than just your own feeling that you are unhappy.
So I think you should listen to your own unhappy feeling, and take THAT as a sign, rather than any cosmic b.s.

sounds like the gods want ya to do some thing better in your life rather than work at a place you are unhappy at. but that is also amazing you got hit twice in the same day and lived to tell the tail. the idea of subconscious doing that is not really the case here you see you have a destiny in your life and the gods want you to full fill it no matter what you do.

Sounds like "someone" was trying to knock some sense into your head, lol. Seriously, yes I do believe in signs and I think our instincts lead us to "know" what we should do for instance. If it feels like it was a sign to you then I say follow it...the only time I have ever been sorry is when I did NOT follow my instincts. Either best of wishes to you. How is your head?

Yeah i believed that i might get laid off, and the next day my hours were cut back. I think we can manifest our destiny more than we think.
My favourite example was last time I moved, i knew it was going to take all day, and that it would have been a disaster if it rained. the night before I woke up at 3am and it was pouring, I absolutely refused to believe it would rain, and I woke up to beautiful blue skies, and they lasted all day long. Oh and I didn't pray to any god either.........could have been coincidence sure, but i like to think I did it haha.

First: How can you be unhappy unconsciously? If you’re unhappy, wouldn’t you realize it, otherwise you’re not unhappy.
Second: That’s silly and a rather self centered way of looking at life. I think that when you are unhappy you have a tendency to notice the bad things.

I'm not sure if those accidents are "signs" you should switch jobs; probably more that you need to be more careful.
If you are honestly unhappy with your current employment, then by all means consider doing something else.
