Should you be condemning something you don't understand? Anyways christian morals and religious life wasn't just randomly made up. Jesus Christ, who historians acknowledge existed and was a leader for the people, passed down the things that we practice today. If He had just been some crazy guy than why wouldn't people have denied anything that He had told them after His death. The Pharisees were looking for them so they had to hide. Why would they want to go in the streets and proclaim and spread His word if He hadn't Resurrected. And you can't say that His disciples all randomly went crazy. So why would if when the Jewish authorities and the Roman Empire started attacking them they just stop and hide. Something had to have influenced them to stand up and die, hundreds of bold Christians. That influence was the life death and Resurrection of Christ, whose " dogmatic laws" we follow today. Amid the present day prosecutions in places much less free than our country these modern martyrs lay down their lives in defense of the Truth.

I kind of know what you mean. I mean, yes I know some people do it for the people they care about. I'm on a mailing list from a couple of church's because of people I've known. I just tear up the part with my address on it and throw it away, not out of disrespect, but it's just not my thing. However, it does seem like some people might get the hint.
Besides, if people are wanting religious 'enlightment', then they will decide when and where to reach out for it. To me it seems like a waste of time trying to convert people who already have their mind made up.

You know, it's funny. These kind of people are supposed to preach peace and acceptance and don't practice it.
But on behalf of the quiet ones, the believers, the pure philosophers, etc., who know what peace and compassion are, I'm going to ask you to forget the messengers.
Please accept the message.
You would do the whole world some good if you shook your head, felt sorry that these people feel their world will come caving in if they can't get the whole world to validate them, and be thankful you don't have that problem.
I'm assuming you don't, of course.
Go easy. Ignore it. Find your own inner peace.

I agree that someone should not PUSH their views on others. However I do not believe that sharing your faith is a waste of time. We can learn much by sharing together. It is when others believe they know it all, and want to try to force you into their faith, then they are doing wrong.
Sometimes it is necessary to speak to someone about what they are doing, if the Lord leads you to say something. BUT ... you should also wait on the Lord to tell you WHEN to say something. If you say something in your own timing you could actually push them AWAY from God, and not lead them to Him.
Everyone has their own beliefs, and no one should down them for them. If they feel the person is wrong, they should take it to the Lord in prayer, not beat them over the head with belief systems.
Often Christians become over zealous to witness to others, this is because they feel they have found something awesome, and they want to share it with the whole world. BUT ... they need to become consistent and deeply rooted in their own faith, before even trying to witness to others. Some go all out after being saved [born-again] and try to change the world for God, but what they don't realize is that we all have Free-Will given to us by God, to make our own decisions and draw our own conclusions. If we then have Free-Will they must realize, they can't change ANYONE, it is God who changes people. And if He changes people, He still allows them to want that change. He does not change anyone who does not want to be changed.

God has shared with us many principles and teachings in Scripture, paticularly with regard to Jesus. Following and sharing those Biblical principles is what defines us as Gods people and if we do not do that we will lose our salvation. I dont know what "dogmatic religious laws" youre referring to. It is true not all of them are helpful, beneficial, or even from God, but I do know Biblical principle IS from Godand you better follow it if you dont want whats comin!
