Or for that matter any other charging device?

Yes. However it is only a small amount. If you aren't sure then leave one plugged in for 24 hours and then feel it. The charging unit will be hot or warm to the touch. That is your proof. Leaving a unit plugged in also reduces its life dramatically. So, make sure that you unplug it if you aren't using it.

Anything that has that big black box will continually drain small amounts of power. The reason for this is that it is designed to have a small amount of power ready in order to quickly turn on an object. Any object that doesn't have that black box will take a little bit of time to warm up and get electricity, unless it's really small. If you want to cut down on electricity bills, unplug all your plugs from the outlets that have those big boxes because they are all using power. It won't save a ton, but if everyone did that the amounts of power that would be saved would power states.

I was always told anything plugged in there is some power going through it. There probably isn't a significant amount, but some. :)

Yes it does - just don't lick the end of the connector to see if it does whilst it is plugged in...
