No. It's not worth the energy it takes to GET mad at the person. I would just think to myself how uneducated and how uncouth the person is and probably start to feel sorry for THEM.

People stare at me all the time because I have my semptum pierced and they act like they've never seen it before [maybe they haven't?].
I show anger because staring is rude and annoying and it shouldn't matter how the person looks you shouldn't freaking GAWK at them you know?
Don't worry if other people stare, because they're probably just jealous of you and maybe you're the only one that notices the flaw on your face...?
They say you are your own worst critict. I know I am. Hope everything works out.

I person has to stare at you a little to see what the flaw is on your face. Maybe, they feel sorry that you have it. Showing anger will only make you look worse. If you are kind towards them you will look better and maybe they will show you kindness.
The old saying; do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

I have a number of scars on my face from a car accident years ago. When they were fresh and I was young it bothered me a lot to have people stare at me. Now, many years later, the scars have faded to obscurity and I don't care. If they don't like my looks or anything else about me I have several suggestions, none of which can be printed here.

E,

You notice facial flaws before anyone else does. Strangers are looking at you because you are nice looking, no other reason.

No, I would feel bad for them. It must be a sad life to be so vain and judgmental. If we hold ignorance against every offender, it would get rather exhausting. Its not their fault they can't see inner beauty. I WOULD NOT waste my effort on them...besides, it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile, and there is a bit of satisfaction in being nice to someone when they are expecting a negative reaction!!

I often walk up to people that do that and stare at their ear, while talking to them. They really don't know what to do and I feel a moral victory, for not looking at them in the eye.

Yes, but a cool or cold anger.

Don't be rude in return, just fix them with a cold stare.

NO!!! I would ask him if he likes what he sees? Which I know that he does. Dispite whatever flaw is there, I am a very beautiful woman.
