can talking on the phone too much give you radiation and cause a brain tumor?

they can't prove it for sure - watch out for your bill though

1. Those studies were made (and not very well) in relation to cellphones, not your ordinary landline.

2. Its main hypothesis is that microwaves emitted by cellphones could cause brain tumors.

There are several things going against those studies, beyond the doubtful methods that were used. Mainly, yes microwaves are a type of 'radiation', but so is visible light. Microwaves have a lower energy level than visible light. KNOWN cancer-causing radiation (x-rays, UV rays) are of much higher energy than visible light. These radiation can break down chemicals in the body, and cause damage to DNA, causing cancer. Microwaves, no matter what intensity is used, CANNOT do that.

According to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), studies have not shown any consistent link between cellular telephone use and cancer, but scientists feel that additional research is needed before firm conclusions can be drawn.
