I understand what you mean. The legal system is screwed up. a guy at work and I had this convo last week. I believe that if they legalized most drugs, then it would be like most countries and it would not be a very big problem, not as big as it is here. it takes the taboo out of it, and kids are less likely to try it. there would be more room in the jails and prison, and then they could properly punish more serious offenders. child molesters should get harsher punishments, and if they are repeat ofenders, then they should never see the light of day again.

I had wondered this myself for a long time, It truns out that the drug dealers and users get a higer punnishment because the courts figure that 8 out of every 10 crimes that are commited by a molester or rapest are due to drug use or being under the influence. It relly sucks, because in my point of view, being a molester or a rapest is an illness in a way. Don't get me wrong I believe all assholes that do that to people should die a horrible and unforgiving death, but it's not the durgs and other things that cause them to do it, it is their sick deminted preverted minds that do it.

I hate this too. drugs are bad, but child molesters should get the same punishment as murder in my opinion. Murderers kill and child molesters do to. They may not kill a person's body but they do kill a person's soul. imagine what a child must go through everyday, thinking about how they were violated. They ruin just as many if not more lives than a murderer.

some type of strict regulation is unquestionably needed. yet even if optimal sentence is nice, would must be considered heavily. after all, some retribution is significant for each and each of the discomfort and suffering they inflict, yet what about the folk who would have achieved it insimilar situations like surprising provocation? additionally they don't should rot in detention midsection. i'm no longer certain that such people exist yet per chance some study will be achieved in this and then lets come to a end. provide them a probability yet honestly no longer the puzzling midsection molestors! The psychological suffering one is going by skill of after a raping is so undesirable that women proceed to be scarred for existence. and little ones conflict through even more suitable as they do no longer recognize what exceeded off to them. they'd even imagine that's their fault. so convinced, some guidelines could proceed to be strict.

Under Federal Law, a second conviction for a child molester carries a mandatory life sentence.
Now, if only state legislatures would adopt the same law.

Because they do not have the time nor the space to house all the offenders as it is not as of importance as drugs in the communities. Yet that is, but it is on the rise.

They think they will change, but they never really do. There was one instance where a man molested a young girl and ruined her whole life, but a man killed his dog and got more jail time.
