dogs lose their puppy teeth and get their adult teeth in after that. So he is teething. The best is to give him something to teeth on. a chew toy that is safe and the more chew toys the better. if he try to chew on furniture or shoes you can correct him and hand him his chew toy and say good boy. the biting is a puppy thing and with the baby teeth it hurts more. but as he bites on you. quickly pinch his tongue and make sure he feels it. and each time he try to bite you then just as quickly pinch his tongue again and that really works and it does not cause and damage and it is safe and the best way to stop a dog from biting on you too hard or stop completely.

If your dogs teeth are falling out and he's a puppy, that's completely normal. He has to lose his puppy teeth to get his adult teeth. This is why he's chewing. Just like human babies, they need to chew to lose the teeth, massage the gums, and break through the new teeth. Just buy a lot of chew toys and bones to help him out. Discourage biting on people by giving a toy each time he tries. This too shall pass.

Dogs lose their milk teeth and grow in their permanent ones, just like we do. Give him something to chew on or get a rope toy and play with him. Pups bite and play with the alphas and other members of their pack, so that is normal. It depends on how he is biting and the pressure he uses, and so on. But discipline him on what you consider playful and ok, and that it is NEVER okay to bite you or anyone else unless he is defending with a good reason. And don't let your dog chew for long periods of time unsupervised. They should learn to properly handle their frustration and not chew just for the heck of it, or it could be your shoes next, lol. Chewing constructively, you could say.

That's perfectly normal! The puppy is teething and losing it's baby teeth, and preparing for the permanent ones, to come in. Buy him some chew toys, and that will help with the biting.

Pups will lose their first set of teeth. Hes prolly biting a lot cause hes teething. Get him a rope or rubber dog toy. You also might notice a rotten sorta smell in his mouth too from the gums being bloody and healing over. My vet said it was perfectly normal and not to worry unless he stops eating or shows other signs of sickness.

Puppies start teething at 3-4 months old... It can continue until they are 7 months old. His adult teeth will start to come in. Get him plenty of chew toys to chew on... It will feel good on his teeth/gums. Perhaps even frozen, raw bones. I have also heard that pups like frozen bagels.
When he bites at you try to distract him and get him to bite the toy instead... If he continues to bite you, I've found the best thing is to gently squeeze the muzzle (mouth) and firmly say "NO!" until he whimpers. Let go and if he doesn't try to bite again say "GOOD PUPPY!!!" in a high-pitched voice. If he does try to bite again, repeat but squeeze a little more firm and firmly say "NO!" again. Be consistant and never let him get away with it. Continue until he gets the idea.

He's mouthing you as he's teething, like babies do . Its the milk teeth that are falling out, they will be replaced by adult teeth. Make sure he has things to chew on instead of you. If he mouths you then distract him with a toy. You may like to get him a cooked knuckle bone from Pets at Home, that will keep him busy.

It will be his baby teeth falling out.
He is probably biting to ease the soreness of his gums because of the big teeth coming through, like a baby teething. Give him a rawhide chew and tell him a firm 'NO' when he tries to bite you.
