yes with a planer and then sand it to 1200 grit after it is laid down right

thats interesting. this is a totally different concept as after the interior walls go in there will be a protective cover placed over the floor until all painting and drywall is done.

the flooring will be sanded to 600 grit initially and then when everything is done it will be taken to 1200 grit. Lychee is about 6 times as hard as red oak so it should be pretty tough

NOOOOOO YOUUU DOn't

How could you think of installing your own flooring that you've spent so much money on already?? It's tricky work, you'll ruin several precious pieces just to practise. Hire a professional.

Frame your walls first and put up your drywall. Then after painting and everything place your flooring. Your baseboards will cover the rough ends at the walls, but DO NOT place your flooring before you paint and place any room fixtures.

You will end up with damage to a floor that is not necessary. Just be careful in placing it.

If your putting base molding up it doesnt matter, get the wood milled right enen know it will be sanded, because you are going to have over board.Meaning some boards will stick up higher than others so it has to be sanded flat.
