Well, you can love someone like your mom and dad...a good friend or even your pet. When your in love the world mostly revolves around that person, you always want to be together and if your old enough you want to be with that person in a sexual way.

Yes, the difference of being in love with someone and loving someone is being in love is a romantic type of love like between a husband and wife, where as loving someone is just more in the realm of friendship or familial type of love. That is why someone can love someone; but not be in love with them.

I think there is a difference. You can love someone and be caring towards them. Being in love you get that feeling. Like wow i know this is love.

Yes there is a HUGE difference. If you love someone you care for them and only want the best for them. If you're IN love with someone you love them and only them, you want the best for them and you will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens even if you're not what they need to be happy. You think of them over yourself. You put them first.

yes there is a difference. you love your family but you're not in love with them right. Loving someone is stronger than being in love with someone. You can fall out of love with someone. But can you really stop loving someone? think of someone you love the most, like your parents or kids. If they did something horrible to you, you might be so mad, but you'd still love them right? I think that's the difference. both are great

loving someone, to me, is putting their happiness b4 yours. You would do anything, take on any amount of pain, so that they wouldn't know that hurt.

being in love is harder to explain, when it happens you just KNOW. might try to deny it and might ? it. but you can't always explain it, you just KNOW

You can love anyone or anything. But to be in love is special. They are your begining and end. They are the hand you hold a cannot tell which is yours or theirs. They are the one you would walk through hell for. They are the face you see sleeping beside you when all is old and gray. You pray for them more than you do yourself. That is how you know the difference.

yes, loving someone is making the commitment to stand by them, take care of them, no matter what, even when the "feelings" aren't that strong anymore. Being in love is just a feeling.

Loving someone is everlasting, and it doesn't change, evolve or discriminate. Being in love is making yourself vulnerable for the hapiness of the moment. Being in love CAN change, die down, and grow apart...hard thing to define, but that's the best I could come up with
