You're right, none of us know for certain about God. We all are different and we all have different viewpoints....

Anyway, do you want pecans & chocolate chunks in your brownies??? <>

I KNOW. It's like someone saying "Santa Clause doesn't exist"! They don't have any proof, so why do they say it?!

Just because it's impossible to prove the non-existence of something does not mean that the existence of that something is therefore probable.

Since god is just as improbable as Santa Clause, I can easily claim that he doesn't exist without breaking any rules of logic (notice I am not making a positive claim, but a negative one). In fact, logic requires skepticism, and the burden of proof is on the believer, not the disbeliever.

You need to know and realize these things if you are to survive this forum.

I freely admit that my beliefs could be wrong. Yet they make perfect sense to me, therefore they are the beliefs I choose.

And I don't do brownies, sorry :)

Indeed, I think i'm among the minority when I say "I have no f'in clue" It doesn't make me scared that I don't have any of the answers, but I'd rather be unsure than wrong.

When you get your brownies can I have some? Thanks.

It's called faith. Research the disciple Thomas. That is where the phrase 'Doubting Thomas' come from.

i don't pretend to know!
though i do like to try & poke holes of doubt into people's rigid piles of dogma.
they don't like that though. they prefer to let their piles of dogma sit undisturbed, cuz you know what happens when you 'break the seal' on one of those suckers--horrid stench all over again.
