Why do spirits/ghosts mess with our electronics? Should I try to talk to them or ignore?

It has happened to me more than once today. At 7 in the morning, it was messing with my computer. It was blinking on and off like you wouldn't believe and messing with the speakers. Then this afternoon it was turning my tv on and off and sounded like it was trying to mess with the tv sound too.

Should I try to talk to it, or do you think for sure it's probably an evil spirit because it's making all of this ruckus, maybe trying to scare me? Is there a way to just make the spirits go away if they get troublesome? I have two small kids in the house, ages 4 and 6 and I don't want them to get scared by the spirits.

When it was messing with the tv I did say, 'by the power of Jesus Christ I command you to leave", I was told that by members of my church, and I think it worked.

Ok, I give up. I am going to delete this question because obviously the entire world has turned into a bunch of cynicals. Nobody out there seems to respect the spirituality of it all. There have been studies that have PROVEN spirits to talk through electronics, people!!! Geez, get a grip.

But it could go away after a while, or it could persist.
Then also, it could be harmless, but it could also become harmfull.
etc.

And yes indeed, don't be afraid. There is nothing to afraid of.
Rather, just realise that spirits are all around us, but never strongly within our world. It seems somehow the spirit in your house has come through strongly. There could be a story behind this. It could be that it is attracted to you for some reason.
it could be that it is attracted to where you live for some reason.

I advise you to visit a spiritual medium. Also i advise you to do meditations, where you FIRST call upon holy spirits such as angels, and then you visualise making contact with the spirit, and asking your holy spirits to bring them back to their realm. Don't forget to ask your angels to seal the entry and to clean your house of all energies.
Imagine a ball of light surrounding your house, closing all gaps, bathing it in light, purifying it.
Ask your angels to guard it.

it may sound far fetched, but occasionally those from other realms are trying to let you know they are there. if you remember what you were working on while this had happened, perhaps they were involved. some forgot about pixies and fairies. pixies are very playful but rarely are inside, and fairies generally do not like electronics. other frequency realms and that and the humming either bothers them or flat out annoys them, but they generally will throw what it is across a room or just tear it in to parts. i know what the person mentioned concerning needing to have your computer cleaned and scrubbed. if it happens again, don't be frightened. repeat if you can remember what you had on the computer. if it happens again, ask simple questions. if that is all that is happening ask wh they mess with the tv. your tv and computer would not be doing such at the same time because your battery would kick on if it was electrical wiring. but i will tell you they are young and not a threat and likes to be talked to as if you are a young mother and that you prefer her not to be there just tell her, don't yell and try religious things that would scare her, 71/2 yrs.old

Well from my experience i had an evil spirit tring to make my life a living hell it would use my t.v. to say things like Satan ,Satan wants you, Satan likes you, Your going to hell, you wanna be a devil worshiper, why do you believe in god, bur it was when i was watching cartoons like Spongebob and Adventure time i would hear the charaters say those things so i stopped watching those channels and started watching christian gospel channels and listening to gospel music soon enough the ghost when away
Still to this day i have fear of cartoon channels because of those experiences
Everything i say i experience is true i'm not making this up

I'm sorry you're not getting a lot of help here.
Anyway, yes, it could be a spirit. But I'm not certain. From what I do know about spirits, a Christian exorcisms sometimes works, but only for a little while and sometimes it comes back worse. Above all, do not try to use a Ouija board. That always makes things much, much worse. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

usually when electrical equipment is messing up it is one of two problems
a wiring problem or a human problem
and not ghosts or spirits

most polterguist cases occur in households where teenagers are present and due to their excess energy levels it can affect things around them
more than likely it is female teenagers... however adults and children can have this effect on things also in times of stress or illness
dont worry too much about it , as this would more than likely add to the energy
try replacing that energy with something more positive , throw a party , play music and sing etc

RAJAN RAJAN... no muslim has ever forced a non-muslim to follow their religion (Qur'an ch:2, v:8 "There is compulsion in Deen (religion)") although it is mentioned in Qur'an and by the prophet to preach the religion of peace. If any person has forced the other to convert to Islam with use of force it is not correct Regarding ur concern u should also mention the name of christian missionaries who have a superater budget cut out in many christian countries and by luring innocent and poor people with clothes, money and food make them accept christianity. Regarding Zakir Naik I believe he has cleared many misconceptions about Islam which had increased tremendously after 9/11 rather than creating hatred among people...

With few exception, the people who responded to your post are idiots. No one knows the terror one goes through when experiencing the supernatural. I, too, for the third time am experiencing electrical issues that come from no valid source. May of 2012 was the most terrifying time in my life for my son and I. Our pet turtle died unexpectedly and I placed a flower in the kitchen by the refrigerator where he liked to stay. I came back into the kitchen a few moments later and the flower was gone. I have dogs, so I figured one of the dogs had eaten it. I keep my home immaculate and swept and mopped that kitchen floor three times after that flower disappeared. The next day, after sweeping and mopping again, I got home from work, prepared dinner, went to my bathroom to get prepared for a guest who was coming over, returned to the kitchen and that flower was exactly where I had placed it. It was not shriveled... it was fresh as when I snipped it from my garden. As soon as the horror wore off, I picked up that flower and it started to shrivel and die. I bought salt, had my priest bless holy water, bought sage and crucifixes. Upon returning from work and the store with my items, my son greeted me at the door terrified. He endured the footsteps in the kitchen, the whispering in his ear, and the orb of light in the hallway and everything else our entity had to offer. As soon as I stepped into my home, my son and I heard the most blood curdling howl coming from my bedroom toward the back of the house. So everyone who wants to dismiss you as crazy is out of THEIR mind. So many things happened during that summer and still are happening to this day, as I sit here trying to figure out why half of my house has electricity. My advice to those who want to be cruel and dismissive, shut your mouth. You have no idea what it feels like until you go through it yourself.

I have a spirit in my house and I could not get it to leave. My wife started feeling something touch her hand at night. We called a Catholic priest to bless our house and this really pissed it off. We started seeing shadows. Our tablet was making a funny sound like the sound went out. Then the TV sound went out and started whistling/screaming at us. I ripped it off the wall threw it outside. One night, I was kissing my wife on my bed (with the lights on) and I clearly saw a black fog/shadow poke its head up at the end of the bed. My wife saw it too at the corner on her eye. We finally used California white sage and smoked out our entire house. Asked it nicely to leave. We did this for 7 nights in a row.

In my opinion if you dont feel threatened by your visitors i would try to contact them but not by a oujia board your opening up a can badness that way

If you really believe you are having communication albeit one sided i would ask them to move something or better still light a candle as its easier for them to manipulate make sure there are no draughts though

if your children have mention the spirits then they haent met yet but then thats not necessarily true depends

make sure you say a prayer of protection if your inviting communication

I would burn sage. I burn sage before I move into a new place. Or just sometimes when I feel weird vibes in my home. You can look up how to do it online if you have never done it. It works for me all the time.
