I have seen pictures of Yorkies ears when they aren't 'right'. I can't think of the medical term they use though. Only thing is, her ears don't resemble those pictures fully. One moves very easily and the other doesn't move as much. She doesn't complain when you touch it and it isn't swollen. It doesn't move just isn't as active as the other. Is something wrong or is this normal?

P.S. I am new when it comes to having dogs as pets, I have always had cats.

I have 2 Yorkies and one's ears stand straight up like they are supposed to and the other Yorkie's don't. It's not a big deal its just how they grew, one is probably just not as strong as the other. I wouldn't make a special appointment about this but next time you take her in for a checkup or shots just point it out to the vet. I am sure they will say it is perfectly fine.

Have you shaved the ears? I know it is important to do when they are young as the weight of the hair can prevent them from standing. And in an older dog, that may still be an issue.

It could just be a lazy ear. It doesnt sound to be to serious, i have one german sheperd with an ear like that, but the next time you go to the vet just mention it to them. Its probably just a lazy ear, or something could be wrong with the cartalidge, or if he/she goes outside there could be something in it, just feel around, but good luck
