I can relate to you as I am in a similar position. He lives the adjacent street to me. When i drive, I go right by his house. Seeing his car parked across the street from his house makes me think about him. What makes it hard is that he is so close but so inaccessible. You cannot help whom you love. It does not matter how long you've known the person but the intensity of the connection. Anyway you cannot change his feelings. You have to work on you as I am trying to do. I invest myself in work and is embracing a new project that will make me feel better about myself. In your case, focus on school. If you see him, just say hi if he establishes eye contact but remains distant. He initiated the break up and does not want you anymore. Try to avoid the areas that he might be as it might cause more pain. Be good to yourself. Take care of yourself. Do things that make you happy. And remember that time heals all wounds. It may be your first break up. This one is not my first one and I have healed from past failed relationships. And break ups are also a learning experience because it gives new perspectives on what you are looking for in a potential mate for the future. Love will come your way again.

Since the relationship was in its early stages, only 2 months, I think that at this point it is more of a rejection hurt then a love hurt. You are not sure why he left, and he has confused you.

Let it go. He probably does not know why either. If you love somebody, it just does not stop in a couple of days, unless of course a big major catastrophe happened. But anyway, just think about how much happier you could be with a man who will not play these games with you.
