i second what dink says
yes there are fakes out there who think nothing of scamming people ...
but i know many genuine and wonderful psychics who are so accurate
but you are right in one thing ...
people should not put faith in them ... people should not put faith in anyone but themself
but by all means if you can get a little guidance in life , then thats great

Some, I'm sure, are in it for the money, and if you can get past your conscience so far as to advertise, accept clients and give out fake info, all in the quest for $$$, I doubt you're feeling guilty about it. Others, I suspect, truly believe they can "see" something, and share their visions with total sincerity--in this case, I doubt they're feeling guilty about it, either, whether or not they took money for it.

As for the people who put their faith in psychics...well...there's certainly a long history of people, many eminent people, doing so. It's probably easier to believe a psychic than a priest, or a scientist. The priest says, "We cannot know all the answers, for we are not God." The scientist says, "This is the best answer I have at this time." The psychic says, "Of course it didn't happen the way I said it would, because something in between changed, affecting the outcome of my vision." That gives a little hope that we might control the outcome of things, just like wearing the same smelly socks every time our favorite football team plays.

I think the "average psychic" who sets up shop, is in it for the money. They may have a gift, however they also love to tell people what they would like to hear. And in some cases there are those psychics who use their gift to control and manipulate others, mostly causing fear to occur in that person(s) life.

Not all psychics are fake. It's kind of like people, some are fake, some aren't, and usually it's easy to spot a fake person.
The fake psychics probably don't care about passing fake information, because they are the ones that charge the big bucks. The real psychics, the ones who don't predict, are the well respected ones, who would probably rock your socks off if you were to meet one.

There are no authentic psychics. They are all frauds. Most belong to a network of 'psychics that trade info so that when you go to a different one they have all your info already. Most are sociopaths and really don't care about their marks one bit.

"average" psychic......hmm.....would not have to post ads all over the place or online......WORD of mouth of their unique abilities would get them all the clients they want...! a TRUE psychic looks at their talent as a gift....used to do good and help people in need......they DO NOT do it for the money or profit.....they accept the money just to keep wackos and people of taking advantage of them.....and their "seeing'
so..the ones that pass out all that nonsense, miss cleo freaks, do not feel guilty....they are in for the $$$$$$$$$$$$ and that alone.
trust me, i am in that 1%........
