murder and rape are choices made by an individual.
Natural disasters are of God. He sent all sorts of disasters to Egypt, but what we see as bad, God intends for Good.
We may have gained knowledge of Good and Evil, however we will never be able to comprehend the whole picture.
God can use what men intended for evil as Good.

The first two on your list are the results of people, but I understand where you're coming from. As far as the other things go, I feel as if there are reasons for them. The reasons may not seem clear to us now but in the future we will realize that they needed to occur for us to become the society we are.
Here's a good example. Look back at your life. I'm sure there are many things that were bad that happened to you (we all have bad stuff happen to us.) Now think if those things hadn't happened in your life. What would you be like? You'd probably be completely different. I can't speak for you, but I like the person that I am today. If I had to survive through a few obstacles in order to get here, so be it.
Just as a final note, I don't believe in God "per se" but rather a divine force that consciously guides us in our lives here.

Good question. You have hit on the great rationalization factor, which is essential for many theists, especially any who believe that their god is loving or all-powerful.
The fact that bad things happen means either: 1) that god is not all-powerful; 2) that god is not loving; or 3) that there is no god.
Many theists (see above examples) rationalize that bad things "have to happen" or are "committed by humans with free will". These arguments are complete nonsense since they contradict the idea of a loving or all-powerful god. Worst of all, if god can prevent evil and suffering, but chooses not to do so, then what kind of god is he/she? I can't imagine a worse kind of evil.

First of all, you might like to ask yourself some questions!
--Is God on the same plain or situation as we are?
--Why would he be turned on by things humans have created themselves or had a great part of involvement in causing?
--As you have painted him, a pervert, don't you think he would get a greater perverted thrill by destroying some solar system or galaxy in the universe or cause the sun to extend its thermal powers out so that he would destroy the earth and bake us, on occasion?
-Who put the hole in the ozone layer, God?
Here is the little earth, that he has intrusted to mankind and of which he has not caused any major catastrophe since the flood of Noah, and your have proof that he has done the things on your check list. Did he paint on the clouds , "I did this" like the rest of the terrorists do?
--When was the last time you saw his credentials on any of the tragedies like disease, earthquakes, hurricanes? Why would He be affraid of taking the credit, since you say he is an almighty Mr. Hyde? He doesn't have anyone to answer to!
--You don't think the way humans have raped the earth, with their nuclear underground bombings has no consequences in starting abnormal phenomenom on earths surface?
--When was the last time he just struck anybody indescriminately with the man made Aids? Or is it the immoral sex and other avenues that has caused this man produced malady?
--When was the last assessment as to the diseases spread because of wars, starvations at man's hands, that you made?
--If you don't like God's gifts to mankind, why don't you go on a hunger or water strike , if you have such contempt for God given blessings?
--Why would Jesus make clear this happening and not otherwise as to good things from God? Was he stupid? Was he hypnotized, or brainwashed in his estimation of God's gifts. Note Please:
(Matthew 5:44-48) “44 However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU; 45 that YOU may prove yourselves sons of YOUR Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous. 46 For if YOU love those loving YOU, what reward do YOU have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing? 47 And if YOU greet YOUR brothers only, what extraordinary thing are YOU doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing? 48 YOU must accordingly be perfect, as YOUR heavenly Father is perfect.”
--Here was a perfect place for Christ to reveal Jehovah God as a hypocrite, as he did with the religious leaders, was it not? Why didn't he?
--Do you think he was affraid to do so, if you believe anything that Christ did or said?
--Where do you get your sick ideas, from false religion, that has played the greatest liar about God & his qualities?
--Do a little thinking, you know, LOGIC, you might have a more thinking question, rather than such antagonism-your might be more effective!

It seems like you could blame everything on God, things that we do, like murder and rape, are only because he gave us free will, so that would make it his fault. Not to mention his murdering (see: Noah's Ark, Egypt, etc.) and it's a bit of a stretch, but he did kind of rape Mary, I mean it's good that she ended up being cool about carrying Jesus, but I don't remember her having a choice in the matter.
As for the disasters, really in the last few thousand years we can explain all the disasters to science, and something tells me the rest are false stories (like a worldwide flood that there's is no evidence of).
But most importantly diseases. now if God is the creator of all, he created all diseases, especially bacteria diseases (as viruses are still debated as being alive or not). So to the people saying we created diseases, is that possible according to your religion? Take AIDS, let's say God created it. Now he must of had a plan, maybe to wipe out the gay people? But he would have known it would have spread throughout Africa killing millions of innocent (not to mention straight) children. So isn't that God's fault.......
There's really too many holes to fill in, and this is why I don't believe in the Bible God.

At the loss of my sister in law, quite suddenly, I actually did blame God, even though it wasn't his fault really. But God has very big shoulders, and for a time, I feel he was happy to carry my sorrow for me. But!
"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the world," God said to Job, "Tell me if you have understanding!"
Everything has a purpose... Earthquakes are a function of plate tectonics, and plate tectonics have allowed us to have the atmospheric composition we have, as well as shaping the continents on which life bloomed.
A world with complete geological stability? Venus - a barren pressure cooker where lead melts on the surface.
Diseases? Bacteria and virii were some of the very first organic structures to populate the primitive seas. Viruses carried genetic material from cell to cell, enabling gene swapping at a time when sexual reproduction had not yet come. We might not be here to discuss this if it were not for these things, our very ancestors in very real ways.
Murder and rape are human caused. God is due no blame for the wilfully monstrous acts of men.
Yes, suffering is a mystery. Who can say with absolute certainty that they know of the good and godly thing that can come from a terrible, terrible circumstance?
But a life with no unexpected tragedy, a life with no sorrow, offers nothing for beauty and joy to be contrasted against. How would joy really be joy, if we did not know how unique, fragile, and precious joy really was? Who would work to bring joy, or seek to spread it?
Yes, God has broad shoulders. But don't think for a moment that God is not to be praised for the good and wonderful things. For it is our sorrow that permits us to truly know the value of that which is bliss.

Murder - act of humans, you can't blame God for that
Rape - ditto
Diseases - many of them could be the cause of humans, others could be nature. Some believe that some diseases "from God" but no where does the Bible promise we will all die by natural causes of old age.
Earthquakes - Nature. God may use earthquakes for a certain purpose though, like the city of Jericho was destroyed by earthquake
Hurricanes - Nature
So if you want to blame people, blame Mother Nature.

Why did the Germans blamed the Nazis for each thing undesirable that befell to Germany?? human beings continuously discover somebody responsible, and a variety of of human beings immediately chosen responsible God. Why? perchance b/c he's meant to pay attention to your prayer and do notwithstanding you asked(many human beings think of like this, yet i don't) , and while that doesn't ensue, blame God

I was in prayer for my father. who was in a coma from a stroke for nine days. had a lung infection.. I heard a voice that said go rub his feet. I did he opened his eyes.he had a tube to his mouth making him breath. but anyway he lived well of 11 more years.
My mother said a invisible hand held the wheel as she tried twice to get in the middle lane. then a transfer truck went by going fifty she might have been killed.but two years later she got cancer ,and suffered much , I stayed helping her for 7 months.so why did she get saved, then suffer so much? and now I get depressed easily because I stayed with her.?& have to take medicine.
I was in the hospital thought it was a bad back, terrible pain. the doctor came to the door after an x ray, you have a tumor the size of my fist on your kidney. Cancer? yes, I gave to to God with faith and went back to sleep. it was gone in 3 days.
My wife and family were killed in an accident
My home destroyed in a disaster. no insurance everything gone.
am now on disability with lots of pain.
My dear Mother told me to praise God for everything.
It was hard to do
But I do.
I actually praise God for everything.
I heard a guy on tv once, not a religious man. who said something I wont forget.that we learn nothing much if we dont suffer.
I have seen a number of true miracles.
I know for a fact that the Spirt of God with with me,
I am extremley psychic.knew when a friend was in danger told him to move ,but he was shot and killed a week later at his home...knew to the minute a week before hand when my dear Grandfather would die..
a lot of things exist that we dont know about..truth is in a lot of things we dont know or care about.
I dont know hardly any answers as to why things happen.
I really dont need to know.because I have total undoubting faith in God and his spirit.and always have since I was very young.
bad things will happen its just life.
I read once a saying.Bad actions or iron shackles and good actions or golden chains.they still hold you to this world.is what it means I quess.there needs to be balance in all our ways.
we must be in this world but not of it.
I love God so very much though I have suffered more then most.it has brought me closer to the spirit with in me
.
In the bible it says that this world is mostly controled by the Prince of the power of the air. so I dont blame God or his spirit for anything. I try to praise God for everything.
.
love and forgiveness is a part of my way.
which this is hard to live a life like that in this world.thats for sure.
Peace.

Murder, rape and diseases are all bad things created by man.
Earthquakes and hurricanes and "etc" are natural things and must happen in order for the earth to thrive. Man is killed in them because he doesn't have the sense to get out of the way :)
So, what other things are you going to blame God for?
