I love my kids, don't get me wrong, but it just seems that i have a void in my life that I need to be filled in order for me to be truly happy. I thought i had found my true love, but he was not what i thought he was. will I ever find my true love???

Well the first step would be to put yourself out there and be patient there is the perfect someone for everyone. Don't get to anxious remember good things come to those who wait. And if you do meet someone make sure he understands that your kids are your top priority. Also dont rush into anything and don't try meeting someone online. Those kind of relationships never last long and how can you start a relationship over the computer. So just remember you will find someone if you are patient

"True Love" is a myth created by male chauvinistic biblical writers and Walt Disney Movies. What you are referring to is probably more like attachment-- A very conditional, low level type of love. God does not have a special person for you, there isn't anyone that can ever make you happy except yourself. Become a whole, person, stop thinking that you NEED someone else, stop watching hollywood films and listening to bullcrap social programming that makes you think you need a relationship with a man to be validated. You do have a void, but it is NEVER going to be filled by someone else, YOU have to fill it and then when you do meet someone that you could love you will be a WHOLE person who has something to offer, not a needy, lost lamb. And don't listen to all the super christians on here, they're wrong. The divorce rate is 62%, marriages are largely unhappy and humans weren't meant to be monogamous for the rest of their lives. Do some research, you'll see. Think about it. Is what we are doing working?? Get a new paradigm, it will change your life!!!

Yes you will........But you need to find peace and happiness within yourself first or you may seem too desperate and needy......Love is out there for us all it just takes patients and it will be found..I find that if we find happiness within ourselves and learn to be happy on our own first it will show and we will shine bright and men are more drawn to that then a needy person...Stay positive and keep filling yourself and giving yourself to your kids and love will show through you and someone will see it and want to share that with you.

i hope so bab. i feel the same way and yes it is a pain when every1 tells ya mr right is out there.i,ve bin lookin 4 mrs right 4 ages now without much luck . me bein borin and ugly dont help!!!!jus stay positive and 1 day you,l look back at this question and laff.good luck, hope you find him.
