As for this chick... that's basic insecurity fare. She is trying to get attention from guys because it helps her low self esteem and feels good for her. On the flip side, her low self esteem means she's worried her boyfriend will leave her for some one else, so she's very paranoid about that and gets upset if he talks to other chicks.
You may want to recommend her to a counselor to help her deal with her issues.

sounds to me like your Friend is NOT really your friend. sounds like she is kind of selfish.. no friend is better than one like that, she should not exclude your other friends because of her lack of confidence in herself.
