Christianity is the only religion that believes that Jesus is the son of God where the rest believe that he was a prophet, which he was, and a great one at that. I tend to believe the latter.

I believe Jesus was a man. A carpenter and a rabbi. I believe one of two things. 1) he was a good man with good intentions trying to show people that love for God, and love for one another should be the main motivation for everything, and we should not be tempted by "sin", sin being, but not limited to, greed, sexual immorality, violence, etc.

Or

2) he was a little crazy and thought he was the son of god, maybe his mother got some on the side, and lied about the virgin birth deal, and jesus bought into it and really thought he was the son of god, and even god himself

Now neither of these explain the magic tricks, i see those as exaggerations to get people to believe in jesus. Really the gospels were written a generation or two after Jesus, so stories could have been exaggerated, or straight up made up to get people behind "the way" or christianity.

Also, I think that early churches realized that they could make money by having people pay for their sins, so they added a few things of their own for their own greed.

All these seem more logical to me than "son of god" and i'm a logical person. Take it however you want.

I'm a Muslim.Belief in all of the Prophets and Messengers of God is a fundamental article of faith in Islam. Thus, believing in Prophets Adam, Jesus, Moses, and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them) is a requirement for anyone who calls him or herself a Muslim. A person claiming to be a Muslim who, for instance, denies the Messengership of Jesus, is not considered a Muslim.

As a Muslims I don't believe that Jesus was the son of God
The Quran states:
"Say: "God is Unique! God, the Source [of everything]. He has not fathered anyone nor was He fathered, and there is nothing comparable to Him!" (Quran 112:1-4).

I believe that he was a Jewish man who lived approximately 2007 years ago in Nazareth. He was the son of Mary and was concieved by the Holy Spirit. He was a carpenter and a rabbi, and he sought to make reforms in the Jewish tradition and thought that the Jewish leaders were too rigid and more concerned with laws rather than people's well-being. He taught a message of peace and love for all people. He taught that anyone who believed in him and followed his example could go to Heaven, not just the Jews. He was the Messiah. The Jews didn't believe that he was the Messiah, so they kicked him out of the temple. Nevertheless, he attracted a crowd of followers, and was able to perform miracles and heal anyone who believed.
He spoke of his heavenly kingdom, and the Romans heard about him and thought that he was planning to overthrow the Roman emperor, so they crucified him. He rose from the dead three days later. He continued to live on Earth for a few more months, and then he ascended to Heaven.

The soul is eternal, therefore everyone has eternal life. What is up for debate is how the soul will *spend* that eternal life.

I believe Jesus was the son of God (as we *all* are) and was sent to Earth to deliver a message from God. Merely beliefin that will not give the soul a pass into the kingdom of Heaven.

Understanding the message Jesus delivered and following his teachings is key.

The one known as Jesus of Nazareth when he walked this earth was both Fully God and fully man. He was, and is, The Way, The Truth, and The life...... the One True God, The Creator of all that mankind can know or ever will know. God has absolutly nothing to do with the deception that enslaves the muslims.

I believe in his principles of life, not the image the church created.
I believe Jesus was a man of great influence during his lifetime. He started a powerful movement, which turned into a religion. Then the religion became bureaucratic and had to sustain itself. So, they made him the son of GOD. They served their purpose by giving human beings a standard to live by. It was very important. But they did so through lies and deception. They controlled the flow of information, and that is why you are seeing a decline in the power of the church. People are now educated enough to decide for themselves what is true or not.

I do not believe Jesus was the son of God (except in the way that we are all God's children) but it is not only the Muslims who believe that. I imagine all but the Christian religions see him as a man.

He was a preacher/teacher of love, peace and tolerance. Things I'm sure God approved of.

Jesus is the only begotten son of the True God Jehovah.
All other things were made through Jesus.
He died a ransom sacrifice on a torture stake, in this he paid the ultimate price for all mankind.
Jesus is our savior. He is now ruling in the heavens above, since 1914.
He is no part of a trinity!

Jesus considered himself a mortal human prophet, it wasn't until later that he was actually voted to be the son of god.

Of course the entire story of Jesus was an old myth and had been done several times before (much of the Jesus story is plagiarized), so I can see it as the derivative mythology it is and not a real person.
