Here's a couple for each.

Alcohol abuse: cirrhosis (chronic), Wernike's encephalopathy (acute, sub-acute).

Solvent abuse: neuropsychiatric (e.g. paranoid psychosis, cognitive impairment), coma/death (acute)

Scirrosis is caused by alcohol abuse...don't know about solvent abuse though...any kind of cancer in the nose or mouth I would think (huffing the solvent that is)

It could be two diseases. One it could be non viral hepatitis which causes inflamation of the liver. This is not to be confused with the sexual transmitted disease hepatitis.
The 2nd one could be cirrhosis which is the formation of fibrous tissue in the liver, replacing dead liver cells.
