Budget Suites.....You can rent an apartment for a week, or two....depending on how long you were venturing on staying. Casinos call other casino's DAILY to find out what there room rates are so they can adjust there's acordingly to be on par with them or, in our case, 5-10 bucks cheaper. If you want something that "won't hit your bank roll" you're going to have to get a room that's NOT CLOSE to the Rio. Just like with CES, If you know that there's going to be a LOT OF PEOPLE SHOWING UP, they're going to need a place to sleep! RATES GO UP! Hit up the BS website, BOOK EARLY to lock in a cheap rate!!!

There aren't really any casinos close to the RIO, it is off strip and kind of a loner.

If you go downtown you can get a room for around $20 - $30 per night. If you can't afford that, you shouldn't be playing at the WSOP.

Budget Suites is close by... but my vote (also) goes to the GOLD COAST. It's a solid hotel.. popular with the locals & the rates are often pretty good.

If they're booked... i'd suggest:

BARBARY COAST... good rates, nice hotel. It's smaller, so checkin/checkout will be a breeze. It has a FREE shuttle to the GC... and the GC is right next door to the RIO!!

HARRAH'S... i'm not a big fan of HARRAH'S but sometimes fair rates can be 'had'. Also, they have a FREE shuttle to the Rio (it's their sister property).

ORLEANS (part of the 'COAST' family... GC/BC/etc), has some good room deals pretty often.

that's going to be an unknown. there's a lot success in contact by those tourneys, and with 1000's of gamers, it might nicely be all and sundry. no longer Phil Hellmuth. he's too afraid to call an all-in wager. no longer Doyle; he wouldn't have the stamina. He starts taking section in undesirable even as he's drained. the different 3 are large, yet so are a lot others. immediately I examine that the only excellent table gained't commence till July seventeenth. back on your wager: i love Johnny Chan superb.

You can try the Gold Coast. It is across the street from the Rio and it used to be cheap. Good luck and hope you have a blast. I love Las Vegas!

The Stratosphere. It's at the end of the strip nearer downtown but it is cheap.
