Hello everyone. I want to hear the opinions of men and the personal experience of woman on this one. (I hope you beautiful, strong, independent women don't take my words too seriously because I love you all and I'm just trying to bring humor to what may be a sensitive subject to some people ;-) To get right to the point, my girlfriend got made at me for almost no reason at all today. In other words, she began her period today... you guys know what I'm talking about :D Anyhow, our relationship is relatively new and we are still getting to know one another. She says that she always gets moody during her period. I tried to talk to her so that we could plan how to deal with it but she jokes around and says I should ask someone else about it. So, here goes:
Do all women get this way every mo. or is this an excuse for some to be mean?
How many days are between periods and how long do the last?
Women, if a guy is extra nice to you during this time, will you still be moody with him?

well i'll be honest... during that time of the month.. i turn into some bi-polar schitzo monster. LOL i get that way for about 2 days before it starts... and then 1 or 2 days during. Periods last anywhere between 3-7 days.. but most of the time 5days. and i wouldnt care if a guy bought me flowers and gave took me on a shopping spree.. if i'm cranky, i'm cranky. it is what it is. lol
i use it as an excuse to vent whatever frustration i acquired in the previous 28 days. lol
not all women get like this.. and even if they do.. it might not happen with every period. it's all hormones.

Not all women get this way, they do get this way 1 week before(most guys think they are having it, but we get cranky the week before) generally a period lasts 5-7 days out of 28-30. Most of the time we can't help the moodiness, but being nice does help to not irritate us more. It's like being pregnant, our hormones are "all out of wack", and we are very emotional. Also we are dealing with cramping of our stomachs that would probably make most men cry for mommy! Just try and be sensitive.
P.S. a little chocolate goes a looooong way!

This is pretty stupid, but I'll answer it anyways. Not all women get moody during their period. It can be pretty painful, so some do get quite irritated. It's usually 28 between each month, and they can last anywhere from 3 to 7 days. Those numbers vary depending on the woman. My man is always sweet to me, even when I'm in pain, I don't take it out on him.

ummm yup pretty much we all do at that time of the month.. gotta ask my boyfriend though think he'd agree i'm just normaly bitchy most months.. lol.
and yeah even if you's are extra nice we will usualy wind up getting moody with ya.. beware.. and keep chocolate on hand might help a bit.. :)

1.) no we dont do that just to be mean. we seriously can't control how we feel. its weird and uncomfortable.
2.) they last anywhere from like 4 days to a week, tops. depends on the person.

second answer : it depends. it can last from 3 days to a week u just never know
third answer : sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt but i would try it if i were u.
