There really isn't any vicious "breed". It all has to do with the up-bringing and owner. Any dog has the potential to be a perfect well mannered dog, no matter how bad a rap their breed gets from the general public. Anyone who loves dogs will know this.

I think it depends on who you ask. Someone, for example, who was attackede by a pit bull would think that they were the most vicious. However, I have worked in the vet field for 12 years and I have seen a mean Labrador. I think overall most breeds who are classified as vicious are actually not....let me explain. If you take a Chow for example. They are what we like to call family only dogs. They love their family, but not strangers. This comes off as a vicious dog. Some of these breeds include, but there are exceptions, Chow, Rottie, Pit Bull, Shar pei, and so many more. Just research. Go to dogbreedinfo.com and look at some of the purebreds.

Why are you even asking this question?
All dogs have qual chance to be aggressive or not. The upbringing of the dog, if it is socialized properly, diet, etc., will be a huge factor in determining their temperament.
Some dog breeds have a reputation for being aggressive as they are mostly used for those purposes but if raised to not be, if raised like a typical pet, treated well, they are often the sweetest dogs.
Honestly, some small dogs are the most 'vicious' as they are spoiled and becoem highly defensive of their comfort, only their size limits the damage they do compared to other dogs, so peoppe often think it is 'cute' but get that small dog near a child or other small animal vs. an adult and its not so cute.

There's no such thing as "most vicious". Any dog has the ability to be vicious. If a dog is abused for years on end, or taught to be vicious ... then it will be. All of this depends on the owner of the dog. I've seen the sweetest, kindest Pit bulls ... and the at the same time ... snarling, mean-azzed Chihuahuas.

There is no vicous breed. Many breeds get a bad rap because people dont treat them right or train them. If you are planning on getting a dog you need to research on what breed would be best for you. If you are never home and dont have 100% commitment do not get an active dog. The human is in control of the dog, so if the dog is vicous then the human trained it that way.

There is not one that is the most vicious.... Just some that have a "bad reputation"... Every individual dog has a possibility of being vicious... It just depends on the owner and the breeder.

Its not the breed that makes a dog vicious, it is the owner who makes the dog vicious.

There's not a breed that's most vicious. My cousins have a Rotewiller (considered an attack dog), but they didn't train it to be an attack dog, it is the nicest dog I've ever met. You have to train your dog to be an attack dog, they are rarely born vicious.

A lot of people have already stated it, but I'll just reiterate. Dogs are a product of their trainer/owner. It's the same with children. If they're not taught well, they probably won't have the best temperment. My min pin is an angel, except he just gets so excited with new people. He's never bitten or even barked/growled at anyone. He's just a happy dog. I love him!

Any breed. Any breed can be vicious if it is pushed to be. The opposite is also the same, any breed can be kind and friendly if treated well.
