i've got a friend, who needs to do a magazine for a shopping mall. she needs some hi resolution (above 600k) picture for the latest gadgets, things like iphone, latest digital cameras, mobile phones.
i know some places like http://www.istockphoto.com/, they do have some images, but i think those gadgets are very hot at the moment, there must be some places which i can get them for free?
any ideas?

Stock images is big business now, and the days of finding these images legitimately online for free are gone I'm afraid.
Hi res images of latest gadgets without any copyright usage restrictions quite simply dont exist. we'll you might find one or two but not in large volume.
The only way to get these images is to have someone photograph the objects. If it's a commercial project you should factor the photography cost into the quote.
You can try contacting the various manufacturers for promo images, but they seldom give them to unknown agencies.

Amazom.com. After you find the product, click on it's picture it will jump to a very big picture. Then save it to your HD. :)
