Yes. When you receive a blood transfusion it is based on your blood type and a process called a cross match. When technicians do the process there would be no way for them to know the race of the donor, and they probably don't know the race of the recipient either.

Yes. "Race" is a faulty concept that makes some people think they're better than others; in medical fact, there is no difference between so-call races.
The man who perfected blood transfusions was black. He was in an accident near a "whites only" hospital and bled to death before he could get help. ironic, no?

Yes. Race is not recorded when blood is donated, and there is no way to determine what race the donator is by testing the blood. Medically it does not matter at all.
The blood is tested for blood type (any race can have any blood type) and for some diseases.

Gad zooks....
There are 4 blood types...O-A-B-AB with sub types of negative & positive
People in every part of the world, have all of these types...the area sometimes determines what is where, but with the amount of traveling & border crossing, all types are everywhere.
The blood is all the same, all over the world...it doesn't matter if their skin has high amounts of pigment or low amounts...the type is the only thing that matters. O-negative can give to ANY blood type. O-neg can ONLY recieve O-neg blood.
Negatives can give to positives, positives can NOT give to negatives. Negs have no antibodies, positive does.

yes--- the blood types have to match, but blood from people of all races can have matching, interchangeable, blood.
Makes you think, huh? MAYBE beneath that little layer of skin, we're all alike--- part of the HUMAN race?
Whaccha think?????

yes if you need blood then you shouldn't be questioning what race it comes from, that person was good enough to donate it for you it is scanned for viruses. thank heavens there are people out there to give.
