When I do not feel blessed I check my heart with God. Sometimes, I do good things for the wrong reasons. Jesus wants us to be a servant; however, we cannot minister to the whole world. Sometimes trying something that you think you could never do is a blessing too. I would serve in lots of places but I avoided junior high like the plague until one day one of the jr high girls asked me to help out and i just could not refuse her. I was so blessed, it was never like work for me. Everyone kept telling me I am crazy, it was junior high. But it was the easy place I have ever served.

Serving others is a blessing...it helps fill your soul and helps the person in need. Helping others is not a chore...if it's done with the right attitude and frame of mind and done in the right spirit.

A chore. This world is already too hard to survive myself and then add on others?! but I guess helping others will benefit you so blessing? A 50/50 thing. I'm not a good person huh :]

It depends.. If you love the person it is a blessing but at times can still be a chore.

Serving others is a chore if it is not done with love as the motive. Everything- even living- is a chore if we lack joy and love.

Its a chore! But watching my kids grow up happy and healthy and still happy and in love my husband, a blessing!

Its a blessing if they are the kind of people who do not take advantage of it and expect it all the time. If they do then its a chore.

I find serving, or doing favors and nice things for my family, friends, and boyfriend a blessing. I care about them all a lot so i do want to make them happy. So when I make them happy, it also makes me happy!
