A detective went to a man's house to solve a murder mystery. He found the man's dead body and next to it was an recorder. He clicked play and the recorder and heard a man saying "These are my final words, I can hear the murderer coming. Oh no, he made it inside..." then he heard a cry for help and a loud gunshot. Immediately the man knew that the voice on the recorder could not have been the man who was shot. How did he know that?

If it was the dude that got shot then the recorder would still be playing.

If the gun shot was played on the recorder, there is no way the man that died could have stopped it after he was dead, therefore, the killer or someone else was using the recorder.

Not sure what everyone is taling bout...but usually when u press record, dont have the hodl it down, adn once the tapes finished, it rewinds automatically

,,,my guess

since it states he clicked play and the recorder....
shouldnt it be he clicked play on the recorded....which means that the words cnat be the dead person, because the dead man cant talk.....think thats how i cna explain it....

Because the show man would have had no way of "finishing" the tape. When the detective found the record it would have still been recording

The voice on the recorder was that of a woman.

Because if it was, the tape would have needed to be rewound as the murderer probably would not have.
