Have a chat with the land lord and discuss whether or not he'd install vents in the building for you this would involve boring 4" holes from outside to inside or vice-versa and then covering these holes with grills these would allow for air circulation or installing trickle vents in your windows could help also and allow for circulation there are loads of products available for cleaning mould just go through the cleaning products at your local supermarket once removed you could then apply other paint products which stop the mould from re-staining but the key here is to ventilate the air and reduce moisture build up as this is a key ingredient for mold and eliminating it will go a long way to solving the problem.

Open a window, and leave it open as much as possible. You need more air in the property. It won't improve otherwise. To get rid of the mould, wipe it with bleach. It'll keep coming back though, unless you improve the airflow. Good luck!!!

go and seeek advice from your local builder or you could try contacting the council for advice on what the best thing is to do. It may be a very low cost simple treatment that is needed, but you will need to get this sorted fast as health issues can arise from mould of this kind.

I suggest you try allowing more air flow throught the property with a "trickle" flow through a window. We used to live in a very damp flat and ventilation improved our life.
