I had a hard lump in my breast, well 2 actually. They didnt hurt but were a little uncomfortable when I lay down. I left them for months before I went the doctor. It turned out to be a fibroidanoma which apparently are really commen. They can occur during hormonal changes such as pregnancy. It was simple enough to have them removed which I chose to do although they could have been left. The doctor said they are extreamly common and there is sometimes a history of them in the family.

I assume you're waiting for the results of your biopsy- you poor thing, it is a really horrible time and you must be so worried. I don't know what it could be, but there's a 70-80% chance it's not cancer (ignore what insensitive idiots on here are saying). These results normally take a week or so in the UK. Unfortunately all you can do is stay as relaxed as possible while you wait.

I had a stressful lump arise in my left breast interior the 1st month of my being pregnant. as quickly as I asked my well being care provider approximately it, he reported that it exchange into cyst -- maximum possibly from the surprising swelling of my breasts -- and that he wanted to work out the way it replaced over the subsequent month. as quickly as I got here returned the subsequent month, the mass had already long gone down by itself. He reported that oftentimes you will get a swollen/contaminated spot on your gland, yet that if it reduces in length by itself, its not something to rigidity approximately. To be on the secure section, i could ask your well being care provider. considering you're at a breast turning out to be degree, you would be able to desire to have some thing equivalent to what I even have. Or it might desire to be some thing completely diverse. i think of thats one to ask the MD approximately although.

You need to be asking a Dr not the idiots on this site.If a Dr. has ruled out anything bad he should have told you something. It could be swelling or scar tissue if they took a biopsy. If cancer or tumors have been ruled out, don't worry its probably scar tissue or the swelling just hasn't gone down yet.

Im currently pregnant too..congrats to you. I have had two lumps in the past (both been removed) niether times was I pregnant but they became apparent after I had my kids. They were Fibroid addanomas (spelt wrong I think) they were benign. With so many changes occuring in the breasts when Pregnant its hard to know what it could be but surely your Doctor intends to run more test? atleast i hope so. Hope all goes well.

My friend, you need to address this question to your physician. Please don't consult Yahoo! Answers for this kind of information. Even I, a nurse, can't tell you "what can it be?" I have no access to your medical records. And if I can't answer your question how do you expect amateurs to answer? Speak to the surgeon who performed the biopsy.

A core biospy should be able to tell you exactly what it is. It may just be glandular developement of the breast.
