This happened to my husband as we were driving on the freeway. This is called a panic attack!!! I knew it was not a heart attack (that's what he thought- he was only 25ish at the time, silly kid), but he was so freaked out that he made me call 911. My advice: never take caffeine pills!!! It is a drug and should be viewed as such. Not saying "don't drink coffee" but it obviously can harm the body in high doses.

Caffeine ups the bodys intake of things like aspirin and other pain-killers, but I haven't heard of this happening with anti-depressants. Read the bottle?

Oh, and if you want to read about people overdosing on caffeine, go to erowid.org. It's hard, but you can overdose on caffeine.
