I have a 2 yr. old "Chinese Chin", who will not stop licking me.?

If I'd let her, she would lick me ALL DAY - EVERY DAY. Does any one know why she does this? I'm not the only one she does this to,
and it gets pretty annoying after awhile. She DOES NOT lack salt, as I've tried giving her ham and she does'nt like it. Has anyone ever heard of a dog having an obsession like this? I will appreciate any help I can get. Serious inquiries only please.~ Debbies MOM

P.S. I'd like to add, that Deb licks me all over, and at times I wake up with her actually SNEAKING up on my mouth to lick it!!!Debbie is my dogs name!

There are a few things you could do buy a bottle of sour apple spray and spray a little in her mouth then spray on your hand allow her to lick you hands with the spray and she won't like it then say no. everytime she is about to lick you get the bottle of spray and say no then if she continues spray wherever she is licking you and allow her to again with time she will stop if that does not work LIGHTLY slap her nose when she does and say no loudly until she stops but make sure you never let her lick you. if you allow her to one time without punishing her she will think its alright. good luck
