I was going through the shed to clean it up and organize it more. When I pick a box up, I didn't know the bottom was so fragile from being wet that everthings fell out. I realized it belongs to my son who is in college now.
There was lot of notebooks, two small hidden camera, small lockpick kit, few books on psychology, lock pick, interrogation, and other things, some audio or computer equipuments.

What upset me most is the note books contain many personal information on various people that my son use to have conflict with in past. One even have big bold "sex offender" on one person. Other page show one old neighbor who use to toss dog waste across fence into our back yard that I made him clean up to keep peace. Other page show a teacher who was having issue with him when he was in senior, he end up got a "A" in that class. Most of the notes seems to be written in foreign lanaguage or code.

There's also few printed pages from website on interrogation, blackmail, legal, and

list of websites and other things.

I really don't know what to do about this or what to tell my son. I know he doesn't like to have his stuff mess with and I promised that his stuff will not get ruin if it stay in the shed instead of in the garage.

At same time this make me really curious about what he have done in the past or what he's currently doing especially with all of this knowledge.

What should I do?

i would talk to him about it. see where he stands. maybe you could find out if it was a fleeting thought or if it is a passion. we have thoughts we don't act on, maybe this was simple that.

Calm down, your son was just a normal teenager. I remember when I used to blackmail my teachers with stuff on hidden cameras. I think that your the weirdo.

You need to be totally honest with your son. Let him know what happened and what your feelings are about what you've discovered. These things were left in your home, where, hopefully, you set the rules and standards of behavior. They may no longer be important to your son, who may have outgrown his anger - or they may just be his way of dealing with his anger. It could be that he used his writings to diffuse his anger; it sounds as though he never took action against these people, he just wrote about them.

In any case, be honest and open with him - just as you'd like him to be with you.

That sounds scary. Your son sounds like he is messing with stuff that might bite him in the butt later on. Don't bring it up until he does, pretend you never saw it. Put everything back the exact way you found it.

You need to talk to him about this. Because of your son,you could be getting in legal trouble with this. You may want to go to the police with this, just to clear yourself. Good Luck

You need to confront him on this and possibly take it to the police. That would be really hard though.
