Quite so!

What is worse is that he stood calmly by and allowed someone else (the tempter) to lure his wife into sin and had the abject stupidity to join in. The bible made this abundantly clear!

Don't allow yourself to be misled by any other version; this is the truth. He did not exercise dominion as God mandated him to do. He was supposed to give to her (look at the way man is built, and the woman, too) and she was supposed to receive from him. But no, he let her run the show.

What kind of man lets another tempt his wife and then say - "Okay, I'll go along."

No. But after Eve ate, Adam willfully joined in.

Gen 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Gen 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Oh you know he was, standing right beside her, listening to everything the serpent was saying to Eve, she was decieved but he was fully cognizant of what was going on, and witheld his authority to say no don't listen. His silence was rebellion. That is why Adam gets the stronger penalty.

Adam was playing pinochle with God...probably complaining about Eve's mood swings.

God created pot to help Adam relax. And alcohol to help Eve find Adam attractive.

The Hebrew implies that he was with her when she was approached by the serpent.

at the end of the exact verse you ask about it says:

. . . She also gave some to her husband, who was with her . . .

is that hard to understand?
