Melinda is written in Hebrew מלינדה (with vowels: מֵלִינְדָה)

It is a Modern name: either a combination of "melaina" ("dark" in Greek) and "linda" (beautiful in Spanish) or "linde" ("tender" in German), or a combination of Melissa ("bee" in Greek) and the linda/ linde suffixes.

Bee in Hebrew is Dvorah (feminine name)
Beautiful in Hebrew is Yafah (feminine name)
Beautiful in Yiddish is Shayna (feminine name)
Tender in Hebrew is Adinah (feminine name)
Graceful in Hebrew is Hen, or Hana (feminine names)
Dark in Yiddish is Charna (feminine name)

Your name is a combination of Melanie (black) and Linda (pretty one). Good luck on getting a Hebrew/Yiddish equivalent.

Sometimes not all names come with equivalents. My Hebrew name is completely different from my English name.
