I was involved in witchcraft/the occult for a long time. Sometimes I wonder if it's all related. Opinions?

God has nothing to do with your thyroid problems. It could be heredity, diet, or the environment. Many people are developing thyroid problems today. Some think its the soy added to our foods, the preservatives in our foods, decreased amount of iodine in bread, or the fluoride in our diet.

I have put a link below on the thyroid. If you are on the right medication and the right dosage, most symptoms will be gone.

God does not try us with evil things- James 1:13. He is allowing plenty of time to pass so that we all see we need God's rule. Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and decide what is right and wrong in their own eyes. It does not belong to man to direct even his own step (Jeremiah 10:23). That is God's right, since only He knows what is best for us. With that in mind, it is very comforting to know what he has planned for your future. Many people wonder what God's will is. Read 1 Timothy 2:3,4- it shows that God wants all people to learn the truth about him so that they can be saved, which we can be only if we continue to do what is pleasing to Him. Jesus said that a sign of the last days was that the preaching work would be accomplished in all the inhabited earth- Jehovah's Witnesses are preaching in 235 lands around the globe the good news of God's Kingdom. You've asked this several times already. As pretty much everyone has told you, there's no correlation between superstition and coming down with popular diseases. Just go to the doctor and take the pills. I and several of my friends suffer from thyroid disorders - no occult connection. There's no reason there would be.

That's genetic. I'm a Catholic and I've got Fibromyalgia and boarderline Lupus (not to mention a thyroid problem from poisoning when I was a kid). I don't blame God for it, or think it had anything to do with my five years as a wiccan. It's genetic and I just get on with it.

Do you always blame the boogeyman for your problems?

Sounds like you have more than a Thyroid problem.

Sometimes bad things happen of "which" we cannot explain. Even us mere humans cannot know the answer to alot of problems going on in the world. That's why sometimes I tend to loose my faith that I was born into (family wise).

God allows me to live with chronic pain and disabling diseases. I'll take your thyroid problems any day.

It is health and genetic related. I had gallbladder surgery and 2 years later hypothyroidism. Same with my sister.
