We have 23' ceilings and I ordered a beautiful tapestry and hung on one wall between our fireplace and the ceiling.

20' ceilings I'm envious. but if i had 20' ceilings i would create something paint a building on your wall, with columns and stair cases etc. how about a picture of a rain forrest. put in sky lights and get big plants. think of a theme that you would like to look at maybe an ocean scene,a cave, what ever, you could make it 3 dimensional get stuff and adhere it to the wall. what about a mountain view. get creative it will pay off in the end. its work but have fun with it.

It seems to be very popular right now to paint a design right onto the wall. Get creative yet keep it simple. Perhaps a large square or rectangle with splashes of colour or the outline of a tree or whatever you like. Then the "painting" can be the size you need it to be.

My buddy had the same problem. First he painted them, then went to an art store and bought a HUGE prestretched blank canvas. Then he splashed paint on it the canvas and smeared it all around for some quick contemporary looking art, then hung the painting. I took up like 6 feet of space and looked great. Some smaller art can get lost on such a huge space.

Paint them...also, you can get a series of small pics or wall hangings and hang them vertically all the way up the wall. just make sure they are evenly spaced!
