What's the best way for a man to relax before sex so he can make sure he can preform ok? My girlfriend and I have been back together for about a month and a half now. We haven't had sex yet but the time is here. We broke up and she started a new relationship and of course we got back together. We've talked about the past and we still have some problems, but we love each other and we are working through those things so we can move forward. I have stuff in my mind from the past that I think about and I'm concerned that when we start to have sex that these thoughts will kill the mood if you know what I mean. I don't want to frustrate her since this is the first time since the break up. What can I do to get past this and make things good when the time comes? Is there a good over the counter pill or something that can up me relax and be at ease?

The best way for me to relax is to have a few drinks before having sex, and then when you are actually engaged in having sex and those "kill the mood thoughts" start poping up, start thinking about what sexual fantasies you would want fulfilled by your partner. If you're daring enough you might want to ask her if she wouldn't mind trying a few new things that could spice up the relationship.

Take some deep breaths, and focus on all the things you love about her. Focus on how that love makes you feel. If you feel any anger, resentment, guilt or negativity, gently push it away and surround yourself in the love again. It is important to be open with her, and discuss any negativity you are holding onto, in order to release it and let it go, but during sex or 10 minutes prior is not a good time for this. Choose a time when you are both relaxed and able to spend some time talking it out. I highly disagree with using medication to suppress feelings.

i wouldn't suggest using pills - but if you must??? ur choice, but i'd let "relax" by getting your thoughts/memories out in the open, so at least they're behind you.. n u can move on <3
