It's a great boredom buster with no real point or purpose, a sort of chat room if you will.

The point is not to argue but to be able to openly discuss our difference in the hopes that prejudice might end. And no I don't see it happening anytime soon, I am a realist. But in my opinion if only one person reads one answer in Y!A R&S and can learn not to hate someone else because they believe differently, then the efforts of all of us was not in vain.

Arguing? Very little point at all. People who engage in arguments are usually only interested in putting forward their point of view, and have little interest in listening to anyone else.

But there are those here who are interested, or curious, or actually seeking - and it is worth sifting through the chaff for the occasional moments of real conversation.

There is no point to argue. Here is a cliche I heard from someone, it might be worth remembering... " don't argue with an idiot , people watching might not be able to tell the difference"

The shortest way to be kept informed of latest reactions to your doubts or questions. Or surprises. But they are good answers when you appreciate your questions are anwered at all. No one can get hurt physically by involving arguements in the forum. I am certainly glad if you ever answer or argue to questions posted by me.

There are no arguments here and this is not a true forum in that there is no real give and take. Everyone basically gets one shot at each topic. Not much of a debate.

So people can make themselves feel intelligent. And just for the sake of an arguement.
Ever been in an argumentative mood?

Some people come in here to argue out of a sense to create conflict out of pride and or ignorance.
I come here to correct "error" and to inform and teach.
You (perhaps not you) can either accept what I say or reject it.
It is your choice and theirs.
