Cleanse the area with soap and water. Use some Benadryl cream and hydrocortisone cream on them. If you have no problems with oral Benadryl, take that also. Aveeno baths help in between medications. Do you have a pet with fleas? If so then you will need to de-flea the pet and probably get some products from the vet to kill them in your home and kill the eggs. The eggs can lay dormant for up to 18 months. Nasty little things. Our vet said that when they start biting humans they are desperate. Take care! If those OTC meds don't help, you will have to get some stuff from your doc.

You should get rid of the fleas first using sprays or flea bombs for the whole house. It will take several sprayings because most sprays don't kill the eggs and larvae.
As for the bites, just put calamine lotion on them or better still clean them with alcohol and try not to scratch as they heal. Most lotions can reduce the itching with local anesthetics.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.
