Yuck!
Most pet food is made from ingredients not intended for human consumption. Oh, I guess it's clean, but not made for humans.
Some pet food is made from human grade ingredients which would be okay for you to eat....but awfully bland, since cats and dogs don't have the taste for seasonings and spices.
Just don't eat your dog's food. It's not really all that great for you.
And while you're at it, don't feed your dog your leftovers either. Not good for your dog!

The dog food is surely better than tuna and milk. The best thing to do though is take the family in to a shelter or rescue, as they're just going to breed and continue to make more cats and kittens. When we feed strays we become responsible for them, and this includes providing them with proper care - including spaying. Before I get thumbs down - no, dog food is not really a suitable food for cats. Cats and dogs have different nutritional needs. Cats have a much higher protein and fat requirement than dogs do, and they also need taurine, which isn't present in dog food. The best thing is of course to get some proper cat food to feed them.

Actually, pet food, is better quality than most human food. It is salt free and made with quality ingredients, not so will all human canned stuff. Any pet food salesman will eat the stuff. Their factories have higher standards, are cleaner and more inspected than the factories that make food for human consumption. It will not hurt you. I really enjoy the dry food, MilkBone cookies are my favorite, Woof woof.

That is funny that you should eat dog food did you eat it on purpose? My younger brother used to eat dog food all the time and he's still alive. He would eat the dry and if it smelled good the canned kind too. He is still alive and kicking so you should be fine.

I wouldn't make it a regular part of your diet, but it won't hurt you (short term). I knew a girl as a kid who used to sneak a few dog biscuits every week. She turned out fine.
