Japanese Mustard Sauce

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
5 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons cream
2 tablespoons hot water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds, lightly toasted
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced

Using a blender or food processor, blend until smooth. This sauce freezes well.

Japanese Mustard Dipping Sauce (Karashi) recipe
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sake
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Combine all ingredients, whisking to blend well. Will keep for short periods if refrigerated.

Serve as a dip for egg rolls.

It is nothing but Wasabe paste and mustard mixed together.
