Why can't you hunt seagulls? The only thing that would stop me is if I forgot to bring a gun or if some animal rights wacko was watching. I hear PETA members taste like chicken., and seagulls might be close. As for them tasting bad because of what they eat, I have seen chickens eat chicken crap and still taste like chicken. Chicken good. Seagulls maybe...

We cant hunt seagulls because there endangered species. They got there because they save a town from a locust attack. We should at least be able to hunt lake gulls.

Check your state's hunting regulation pamphlet; should be available at K-Mart or Walmart or anywhere they sell guns. Some birds are considered nuisance animals and may actually be hunted most of the year. Make sure you know the local regulations; it's often against the law to hunt within city limits, etc.

You should only hunt what you're planning to eat, and given that seagulls live off fish and garbage, I doubt they'd taste very good.

There internationally protected on this side of the ocean anyway, remember the baseball player getting charged up in Canada for killing one with a baseball. I think it was set up because they keep the waterways and beaches cleaned up of fish waste. Which could cause disease

i would love to be able to hunt seagulls, i hate them. they are so annoying at the beach. i've been told they are a protected animal, meaning that there would be consequences for killing one.

Would you eat a seagull? Not me, it would be about like eating a raven or crow (scavengers). But I can see your point about so many of them in certain areas, you would think that they could probably spread disease in these areas. Contact your local game warden & pose the question to them & see what their answer is.

Because they are a protected species, because they are scavengers and reduce natural waste on beaches , like dead animal etc.
