Check the package, it should tell you if the extract contains alcohol. Typically they do because essential oils will dissolve in alcohol but not in water.
However, if during cooking the food temperature rises above 90 degrees F, the alcohol will boil off and will not remain in the finished product.

Yes. All "extracts" contain alcohol as a medium. There are also flavored oils that do not contain alcohol.

Not always. Other vehicles include glycerine. Check in health food stores such as http://www.ChampHealth.com/buyersguide.htm for ones that don't contain alcohol. Usually regular grocery stores stock the ones that have alcohol.

Almond Extract:

hhm, nicely i don't have both of those with me today, yet i understand when I practice dinner with them with my mom round christmas they particular as heck smell like alcohol. Ethanol i guess...thats the kind you drink precise? lol I cant save in recommendations. besides, yeah I save in recommendations depending on the decrease back after smelling it and using the fact it does comprise alcohol. not lots although...
