It's been that way for at least a couple months. How often do they extend the date you can make reservations for?

Southwest prices its tickets based upon a formula that uses its fuel purchase hedge, which may not go past May at this point.

While most airlines only open up schedules to 330 days out, Southwest only does it 90-120 days out. They are kings of yield management and are never going to commit too far in advance... keeps them more flexible.

For many airlines, you can only book up to six months in advance. Check at the beginning of each month to see how far in advance they are booking flights.
