i need a way to tell my brothers when they get older but how??

how do u know he's gonna die in 2 years?

The responsibility for telling your brothers falls upon your dad, you shouldn't have to tell them such a thing. However, if, for some reason, your dad refuses to tell them, sit them down, and just explain to them, that he has developed cirrhosis of the liver (if, in fact, that is what he has), from drinking alcohol, and explain the dangers of alcohol to them (is a good time to do so), including the very real danger of alcohol poisoning.

In a mattter of time someone that is a heavy drinker will die alot sooner than somone that is not a heavy drinker----but in 2 yrs(?????)---have ya been told this by a dr. or is this something you have just heard?? from someone

Is it your Dad too then ? Or no? You need to aver that this is what will happen if you let something control your life.You need to explain the importance of it's "not your fault" and "I'm sorry".. When the time is right you'll know what to do.

You can tell them that he's sick because of the alcohol but nobody knows exactly when somebody is going to die so you can't tell them that he is going to die in two years.

I can't help you out here. You will have to wait until the time comes. You need to be your brothers strength when the time does come. God be with you and yours.
